A staffing agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Certified Medical Coder in Charleston.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Identifying, collecting, assessing, monitoring and documenting claims
• Verifying and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, specificity and appropriateness of diagnosis codes
• Reviewing medical record information to identify all appropriate coding

Skills and Requirements Include:

• 2+ years of working as a medical coder
• Coding certification through AHIMA/AAPC
• Minimum of GED or High School Diploma
• Technically savvy
• High speed internet with good service available at your home
