A hospital management company has a current position open for a Remote Certified Medical Coder in Mcallen.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Reviewing medical documents from clinics and hospital
- Ensuring complete and accurate coding of all diagnoses and procedures
- Providing assistance to the clinic billing office staff
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Completion and certification from a certified coding program
- High school diploma or GED
- Current Coding certification
- 3 years experience in hospital or clinical billing or coding
- Physician billing office experience
- 3 years direct experience in medical coding
