Job Summary
A staffing agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Certified Medical Coder in Orlando.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Identifying, collecting, assessing, monitoring and documenting claims and coding information
- Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, specificity and appropriateness of diagnosis codes
- Reviewing medical record information to identify all appropriate coding
Qualifications for this position include:
- 2+ years of working as a medical coder
- Coding certification through AHIMA / AAPC
- Minimum of GED or High School Diploma is required
- Excellent written verbal and communication skills
- Technically savvy
