Job Summary

A staffing firm has an open position for a Remote Certified Medical Coder in Worcester.

Must be able to:

  • Review medical record information to identify all appropriate coding based on CMS HCC categories
  • Verify and ensure the accuracy, completeness, specificity and appropriateness of diagnosis codes
  • Identify, collect, assess, monitor and document claims

Qualifications Include:

  • Technically savvy
  • Coding certification through AHIMA / AAPC is required
  • 2+ years of working as a medical coder
  • Minimum of GED or High School Diploma is required and will be verified
