Job Summary

An educational facility is filling a position for a Remote Certified or Non Certified Medical Coding Specialist in Columbia.

Must be able to:

• Review complex clinical documentation and diagnostic results
• Assist in the audit of medical records
• Act as liaison between third party payers and assigned departments

Qualifications for this position include:

• 1 year of medical records coding experience related to patient records
• Experience using ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS and the CPT-4 coding systems
• Medical records coding certification or degree in Health Information Management or a related field
