Job Summary

A healthcare technology company has a current position open for a Remote Certified Orthopedics Medical Coder.

Must be able to:

  • Review records and provide documentation feedback
  • Respond to coding related denials
  • Take steps to correct claims

Position Requirements Include:

  • Current Certification – AHIMA or AAPC
  • 2+ years of experience coding orthopedic acute/elective surgery and inpatient/outpatient E/M services
  • Ability to work on internet-based coding programs
  • Thorough knowledge of medical office operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Work, outlook and Excel
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
