Job Summary
A healthcare company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Certified Pain Management Medical Director.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Pain Management Associate Medical Directors for prior authorization clinical reviews
- Develop and document standard operating procedures
- Perform timely review of Medical Coverage Policies for our clients
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 5+ years of clinical practice beyond residency/fellowship
- Board certification as an MD or DO with a current unrestricted state license to practice medicine
- Completed US-based residency program in Physical Medicine and PM&R
- Completed Anesthesiology and fellowship program in Pain Management
- Experience with clinical decision-making criteria sets (i.e., Milliman, InterQual) helpful
- Excels in a matrix organization
