Job Summary
A healthcare consulting company is in need of a Remote Certified Physician Coding Specialist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Accurate and timely completion of charge review work queues as assigned
- Code claims directly from the medical record/operative report according to coding guidelines
- Assist with tracking and trending coding issues and research of denied claims
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- AAPC or AHIMA Coding Certification (i.e. CPC-A, CPC, CCS-P) required at time of hire
- Successful completion of coding curriculum
- EPIC experience preferred
- Minimum of 1 year physician procedural coding experience highly preferred
