Job Summary
A medical partnership organization needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Certified Professional Coder.
Must be able to:
- Comply with all legal requirements regarding coding procedures and practices
- Conduct audits and coding reviews to ensure all documentation is accurate and precise
- Assign and sequence all codes for services rendered
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Knowledge of ICD-10, ICD-9-CM, CPT-4, coding, anatomy, physiology, adjudication of claims, and operational experience in a pediatric setting
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize needs in order to meet short and long term deadlines
- Current coding certification, such as CPC, CCS-P, RHIT, RHIA
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
