OVERVIEW
The Resume Expert is looking for certified resume writers to create professional marketing documents (r sum s and cover letters) for our clients.
THE CERTIFIED RESUME WRITER ROLE
This role is a 1099 contract position that works directly with clients to conduct a needs analysis and deliver a career marketing solution that aligns with the client's objectives.
We will provide clients to you based on your subject matter expertise. Most candidates will be mid-career professionals, but could also include early-career and executive roles from time to time.
We require response to client inquiries the same business day when possible, but never later than the following business day. For resumes and cover letters, first drafts are due no later than three business days from the client providing all requested information.
If you are retained, you will receive more detailed information as part of your independent contractor agreement.
Note: We view customer support and education as being equally important as work quality. We pay more than most other firms and provide exceptional mentoring and support, but we also expect more of our contracted writers.

Our commitment to our client is that by the end of the process they feel like they got exceptional value, and would be satisfied if they'd paid twice as much for the product they've received.
COMPENSATION
Compensation for this role is currently a very generous 35 - 40% of the fee paid by the customer, with the possibility of increasing that percentage by demonstrating excellence and earning additional autonomy over time.
Most customer resume orders are between $200 - $500, but may be outside of that range based on client seniority, product selection, and/or promotional pricing.
You will receive compensation upon completion of the project when the client indicates they are satisfied with the finished product. We have a shared interest in the success of the project.
QUALIFICATIONS
As a qualified contractor, you possess the following:
Current CPRW or NCRW certification (attach your certificate with your application)
The ability to adhere to our standards and use the tools that we provide
A strong command of the English language and impeccable grammar
A desire to see the candidate succeed in their job search
A passion to grow in your profession
