Job Summary
A healthcare information solutions company is seeking a Remote Certified Tumor Registrar.
Must be able to:
- Review clinical documentation as appropriate
- Code, stage and enter data into the registry database
- Perform data quality control activities on registry data
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency of ICD-10 and knowledge of ICD-9-CM, ICD-10 CM/PCS, DMS Coding
- 2-3 years previous experience in tumor registry
- Knowledge of National Cancer Institute's Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results (SEER) Program
- Strong conceptual, as well as quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Currently certified as a CTR by NCRA required
