Job Summary

A healthcare company is seeking a Remote Certified Tumor Registrar in Cleveland.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Providing abstracting, case finding and follow-up services to clients
• Monitoring and evaluating the activities of the Cancer Registry
• Adhering to state and national accrediting agencies

Required Skills:

• College level courses in Medical terminology, Anatomy and Physiology
• Knowledge of the Commission on Cancer Standards Vol. I and II
• Knowledge of North American Association of Central Cancer Registries Standards
• Direct experience with American College of Surgeons Survey under new standards
• Hands-on abstracting experience with 1.25 cases per hour productivity and 97% accuracy rate
• Knowledge and experience of Cancer Registry software programs(s)
