Job Summary
A not-for-profit healthcare system is filling a position for a Remote Certified Tumor Registrar in Marietta.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provide abstracts to computerized registry database all reportable cancer cases with accurate, pertinent, and complete codes
- Conduct casefinding, abstracting, and follow-up in the Cancer Data Center
Position Requirements Include:
- Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) or CTR eligible (associates degree in a recognized allied health field)
- 3 years experience in ACoS Approved Cancer Registry or graduate of a Cancer Registry Program with an Associate Degree
- ICD-O coding
- Staging in AJCC, and Collaborative Stage formats
- Computerized data reporting skills
