Remote Certified Tumor Registrar Senior Abstractor

Job Summary

A health services company is in need of a Remote Certified Tumor Registrar Senior Abstractor.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Screening disease indices, pathology reports, radiology reports, and other clinical documents
• Abstracting and coding required core data items from medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Performing primary data abstraction duties for clinical measures and registries

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR
• Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR
• 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required
• Certified Tumor Registrar
• 1 year of abstracting experience is preferred
