Job Summary

An education programs company has a current position open for a Remote Chief Communications and Public Affairs Officer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Developing and leading strategies to build a large, diverse coalition
• Serving as the quarterback for the corporation's relationships with policy makers, thought leaders, media, and others
• Leading corporate communications, PR and policy functions, and building out the teams and functions to support the next stage of growth

Qualifications Include:

• A background in business, with an emphasis on mission-driven outcomes
• Experience as the functional leader of policy and communications units within high growth organizations
• National domestic policy experience, leading public policy and communications within regulated industries
• Experience with multi-audience business models and working in partnership with key business stakeholders
• Cultivated a variety of cross functional and external stakeholder relationships
