Job Summary

A vision insurance company is filling a position for a Remote Chief Information Security Officer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

Establishing long-range corporate policies
Regularly contributing and presenting to Board of Directors and Audit and Risk Committee
Chairing the Information Security Steering Committee

Qualifications for this position include:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience
Relevant experience in Information Security within highly regulated industries, such as healthcare, financial services, and energy
Ten or more years of experience with clear progression to senior leadership/management roles
Proven track record and experience in developing information security policies and procedures
Knowledge of information security technologies, secure network architectures, application security capabilities, and cloud security services
Understanding of the current cyber threat landscape, attack methodologies, and risk mitigation/remediation methods
