Remote Chief Information Security Officer

Job Summary

A vision insurance company is filling a position for a Remote Chief Information Security Officer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Establishing long-range corporate policies
• Regularly contributing and presenting to Board of Directors and Audit and Risk Committee
• Chairing the Information Security Steering Committee

Qualifications for this position include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience
• Relevant experience in Information Security within highly regulated industries, such as healthcare, financial services, and energy  
• Ten or more years of experience with clear progression to senior leadership/management roles
• Proven track record and experience in developing information security policies and procedures
• Knowledge of information security technologies, secure network architectures, application security capabilities, and cloud security services
• Understanding of the current cyber threat landscape, attack methodologies, and risk mitigation/remediation methods
