Job Summary
A vision insurance company is filling a position for a Remote Chief Information Security Officer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Establishing long-range corporate policies
- Regularly contributing and presenting to Board of Directors and Audit and Risk Committee
- Chairing the Information Security Steering Committee
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience
- Relevant experience in Information Security within highly regulated industries, such as healthcare, financial services, and energy
- Ten or more years of experience with clear progression to senior leadership/management roles
- Proven track record and experience in developing information security policies and procedures
- Knowledge of information security technologies, secure network architectures, application security capabilities, and cloud security services
- Understanding of the current cyber threat landscape, attack methodologies, and risk mitigation/remediation methods
