Job Summary

The Opportunity:

An incredible opportunity to lead a world-class team in scaling a software and media company that changes lives around the world. As the Chief Operating Officer at GrowthDay, the world's #1 system for self-improvement, you'll help build and scale a cross-platform consumer and enterprise application from 300,000 accounts to tens of millions and into international markets. In addition to leading high performers, the COO will serve as a trusted advisor to our famed CEO and help drive growth and significantly lead the product, engineering, media, and operations functions of the company.

What You Will Do In This Role:

Work closely with the CEO and executive team to implement the company's strategy and create the policies, processes and rhythms for becoming a world-class software and media company.
Align the team to drive business objectives and create a culture of excellence.
Oversee the goals and operations of all departments, including product, engineering, finance, media, and sales.
Identify and drive new business opportunities and revenue.
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Represent the company at investor meetings and industry events.
Collaborate with CEO to raise funding rounds, close large deals, and deliver excellent communications with all stakeholders.

Partner with the CEO to set strategy and align the company to hit aggressive goals.
Identify resource gaps and hire a world-class team, including technical and sales roles.
Drive operations, finance, product rollouts, and team scaling from startup to IPO.
Amplify our world-class culture and speed our implementation and international expansion.

You Are What We Are Looking For If:

You have led and helped scale a software company with multiple product offerings.
You have previously led or built engineering, product, marketing, and people teams.
You love personal growth as much as you love scaling business.
You can maintain calm and stay in a socratic, kind problem-solving mode through difficult situations.
You understand tech stacks and can easily translate ideas into deliverables.
You want to build a category-defining company with us.

You're a pro collaborator, facilitator and communicator.
You can lead, manage, and direct - but you actually love rolling up your sleeves with your team.

Who Should *Not* Apply:

You have not been a COO for a team of 50 or more.
You haven't worked intimately with the details of scaling a multi-product software startup, including directing most of it yourself in partnership with a small-medium team.
You've never worked on a consumer-focused app. (If you've only experienced B2B enterprise apps, it's not a fit. We need someone who intimately knows consumer behavior on iOs, Android, desktop as well as enterprise clients).
You are not willing to create and send us a video answering questions from the CEO prior to a live meeting with him. (Please look him up!).
You've never participated in funding rounds, enterprise sales, or engineering.
You are not willing to do a background check (where legally applicable).
