Remote Chief Privacy Officer

Job Summary

A healthcare solutions company is in need of a Remote Chief Privacy Officer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Develop a strategic and comprehensive privacy program
• Serve in a leadership role for privacy compliance
• Draft, review, and negotiate privacy agreements and provisions

Position Requirements Include:

• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school; membership in good standing in at least one state bar
• 12+ years of dedicated healthcare privacy experience in a health technology company
• Preference for individuals who have worked as business associates
• Deep familiarity and experience with HIPAA and other health care relevant legislation
• Practical, business-oriented approach when assessing legal risk and strong written and verbal communication skills
