Job Summary

A higher education provider is seeking a Remote Chief Procurement Officer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Being responsible for purchase of materials, goods & services for the campus
• Having policy, regulatory, and legal oversight of the procurement and contracting processes
• Providing direction & oversight over the organizations, programs, and policies that enable procurement of goods and services

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
• 10-15+ years of experience in supply chain sourcing, procurement strategy and operations, or related experience
• 7+ years of experience in Higher Education and research supply chain sourcing and procurement
• 10+ years of experience in business process re-engineering and organizational transformation
