Job Summary
A marketing and advertising company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Chief Technical Architect.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Defining, communicating, and driving company's technical vision, winning support from engineering and aligning with product and business strategy
- Owning the long term reference architecture and aligning it with overall business and product strategy
- Establishing technical standards around design, software reliability, quality etc
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 12+ years of experience building large scale distributed systems and applications
- Demonstrated history of shaping and establishing technical vision and architecture within successful companies
- Experience as an internal technical leader within an engineering organization of at least 100 headcount
- Demonstrated ability to create alignment around plans, and then moving into efficient execution
- Extensive experience leading complex technical projects, mentoring, and coaching engineers in tackling technical challenges at a large scale and accelerated pace
- Ability to stay on the cutting edge of emerging technology, forging key relationships with peers at public and private institutions
