Job Summary
A financial company has a current position open for a Remote Claims Coding Specialist I.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Performing additions, maintenance and updates to editing databases
- Maintaining accurate, detailed tracking of changes to editing guidelines
- Assisting in the creation and maintenance of documents for assigned states/clients/data sets
Position Requirements Include:
- High School Diploma
- Experience with databases and data manipulation
- Ability to sort and analyze data
- General knowledge of medical procedures, conditions, illnesses and treatment practices
- Detailed knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 & 10 coding
- Experience working with CMS and/or Medicaid guidelines
