Job Summary
A provider of online-based therapy sessions is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Claims Processor in New York City.
Must be able to:
- Serve as our subject matter expert on claims and integration with insurance companies as we expand into the B2B space
- Perform accurate processing of claims including submitting claims on behalf of our therapists
- Manage settlement of claims, working to resolve them in a cost effective and efficient manner
Position Requirements Include:
- 5+ years of healthcare claims in a clinic setting
- Knowledge of eligibility, medical terminology, third-party reimbursement and COB
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and communication skills (verbal & written)
- Organization and Billing experience
- Experience with health insurance claims
