Job Summary
An insurance provider has an open position for a Remote Claims Technical Specialist in Glenmont.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Reviewing and analyzing subrogation demand packets, applications of appropriate betterment, and identifications of prior damage
- Obtaining resolution of disputed damages, estimates, or supplements from all methods of inspection
- Managing processing for salvage vehicles and property for maximum recovery
Position Requirements Include:
- Four (4) year completed degree in related field (Criminal Justice, Insurance and Risk Management, Business, Communications)
- Currently hold an active (Rhode Island) adjuster license and (New York) appraiser license or obtain following date of hire (
- Comfortable managing difficult conversations with ease and confidence while maintaining a helpful and friendly disposition
- Aptitude to navigate various computer systems simultaneously (Microsoft Office applications and internal systems)
- Completion of Inter-industry conference on auto collision repair (I-CAR) / Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications or applicable insurance designations
- Strong negotiation and organizational skills
