Job Summary
A non-profit Jewish humanitarian organization has a current position open for a Remote Clergy and Congregations Director in Silver Spring.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Developing a cohesive program for clergy, incorporating learning experiences and leadership opportunities
- Identifying a powerful cadre of top tier clergy leaders to serve as spokespeople and advocates, presenting an inspiring Jewish moral voice for welcoming refugees
- Cultivating and expanding the Welcome Campaign Synagogue Action Network
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 6-8 years of relevant work experience, with 3+ years of experience specifically in a congregational setting, as well as high familiarity with Jewish clergy and congregations, and extensive experience working in the Jewish community
- Demonstrated experience in leadership development, building networks, relational organizing and conducting trainings
