Remote Client Controller

Job Summary

Serving as the outsourced finance lead for a portfolio of high-growth, investor-backed US businesses, the full-time Remote Client Controller will manage financial reporting, compliance, audits, and accounting operations while leading a team of accounting professionals in a 100% remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Onboard new clients and establish accounting processes, systems, and procedures for long-term success
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and management reports, providing strategic financial guidance
• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, delegating tasks and ensuring quality and accuracy across multiple client engagements

Required qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of accounting and finance experience, including at least 3 years in a Controller role at a US-based public accounting firm
• Experience supporting high-growth businesses with over $5 million in annual revenue
• Deep technical proficiency in US GAAP, financial reporting standards, and US compliance, along with hands-on experience in relevant accounting software
• Experience in managing multiple client engagements concurrently in a multi-client outsourced environment
• Proven ability to manage and develop a team of accounting professionals, ensuring accountability and quality standards
