Job Summary
A management consulting and IT support firm is filling a position for a Remote Climate and Sustainable Operations Specialist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Providing support to team leads for federal client programs on environment and energy
- Performing policy analysis of federal and agency specific sustainability policies
- Assisting in establishing internal goals, plans, metrics, and milestones related to climate and sustainability
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of sustainability principles, energy efficiency technologies, or public policies
- Knowledge of climate mitigation and adaptation policies, technologies, and resources
- Ability to interpret and analyze policies and technical directives
- 5+ years of experience with client delivery related to greenhouse gas reporting, sustainable operations, or facility energy management
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
