Job Summary

An environmental technology and sciences company has an open position for a Remote Climate Risk Modeling Scientist Actuarial Services Manager in Boulder.

Must be able to:

• Act to resolve issues that prevent the team from working effectively
• Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations
• Coach others, recognize their strengths and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development

Required Skills:

• Demonstrates extensive abilities of programming skills (Python), experience using GIS softwares, and working knowledge of the CMIP5 / CMIP6 models
• Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in managerial roles involving natural catastrophe modeling and/or climate modeling
• Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in roles involving, directing efforts to identify and address client needs
• Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader
• Demonstrates capability and desire to design and develop new products from the ground up, a leading a growing team of climate experts and financial professionals
