Job Summary
An animal healthcare company has an open position for a Remote Clinical Animal Pathologist.
Must be able to:
- Exam digitized and glass slide cytology samples with a report that includes a microscopic description
- Exam CBC and urine slides sent up for review based on pre-set criteria with a write-up and interpretation
- Consult with referring veterinarians regarding current, prior or future cases
Skills and Requirements Include:
- DVM (or equivalent)/VMD degree
- ACVP Certified or Board Eligibility
- Formal pathology training – residency or graduate studies (Masters or PhD) in clinical pathology related field
- Strong diagnostic skills in Clinical Pathology
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with strong analytic and problem solving abilities
- Ability to work at a fast pace while keeping the high level of quality that is expected
