Job Summary
A company that provides health care software solutions is seeking a Remote Clinical Coding Documentation Manager.
Must be able to:
- Communicate and educate providers concerning accurate clinical documentation
- Educate Emergency Medicine providers
- Review/audit medical records to determine correct coding
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 5 years coder training and/or chart auditing experience for coding of the professional component
- Coding certification
- Experience as Clinical Nurse or a Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist
- Ability to communicate effectively both internally and with Emergency Medicine providers
- Versed in medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Understanding of the workflow in the Emergency Department
