Job Summary
A health services company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Clinical Guide and Post Acute Utilization Management Review Nurse.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Performing initial, concurrent, and discharge reviews of all cases
- Reviewing current charts for appropriateness and correct admission status
- Conducting holistic assessment to identify co-morbid conditions, ED/ hospitalization history, medications, and more
Position Requirements Include:
- A minimum of 4 years of RN experience, plus an unrestricted RN license
- A minimum of 3 years experience doing utilization management at a health plan
- Team player mentality with a can-do attitude
- Understanding of CMS guidelines and MA requirements
- The ability to comfortably multi- task via listening, talking and typing all at the same time
