Remote Clinical Mental Health Counselor
Job Summary
Seeking a part-time Remote Clinical Mental Health Counselor, the adjunct faculty member will provide quality instruction in graduate counseling courses, ensure timely completion of academic requirements, and support curriculum development while working from home.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver quality instruction in assigned courses within the approved academic program curriculum
- Manage classroom activities and be accessible to students for questions and assistance
- Complete required documentation and participate in professional development activities
Required qualifications:
- Terminal degree (PhD or EdD) in Counselor Education or Counseling from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 18 hours of graduate coursework in counseling subject matter
- Demonstrated knowledge of major counseling theories and evidence-based clinical practice
- Working knowledge of ACA Code of Ethics and CACREP standards
- Preference for candidates with prior online teaching experience and an active professional counseling license
