Job Summary

A pharmacy benefit management company is filling a position for a Remote Clinical Pharmacy Technician II.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Determining appropriateness for medication
• Communicating selected prior authorization criteria
• Monitoring telephone system

Qualifications Include:

• Active pharmacy technician licensure or registration in accordance with state requirements
• Specialty or retail pharmacy industry experience
• 2 years dispensing or retail experience required, or equivalent internal training will be substituted
• Proficiency in Pharmacy computerized systems and software applications
• In-depth knowledge of specialty injectable prescription drugs, and disease states
• In-depth knowledge of medical terminology and current diagnostic and reimbursement coding
