Job Summary

A university is in need of a Remote Clinical Practice for Special Educational Specialists Manager.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Serving as the SPED resource expert for California Commission on teaching Credentialing compliance issues
• Leading an expansive team of part time faculty hired as clinical practice instructors
• Managing SPD student success interventions with the Clinical Practice team and the Office of Credentials and Licensure in the college

Qualifications for this position include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education required or equivalent combination of education and experience
• California Teaching credential or equivalent TK-12 experience
• Experience supervising part-time faculty and staff
• Must possess highly effective communication, problem solving and leadership skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong ability to embrace and adapt to change
