Job Summary

The Training and Development Lead is responsible for the effective onboarding and ongoing development of AbleTo's 100% remote workforce of mental health clinicians. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing all new hire training and working with Clinical Leadership to perform remediation and ongoing training as needed. He or she will develop innovative and engaging multi-media training content incorporating best practice instructional design principles and adult learning theories. He or she will create a strategy to manage training needs in a fast moving and growing company that can accommodate frequent changes to the service delivery processes and system.
The Primary Responsibilities:
Facilitate all new hire training during new hire probation period
Update new hire training as needed to reflect changes in service delivery process / clinical platform
Develop a scalable instructional strategy that includes a process for incorporating frequent changes to the service delivery process / clinical platform into training materials and the use of technology solutions to support learning of a fully remote, large workforce
Develop web-based multimedia, interactive e-learning applications using online authoring tools incorporating theories of adult learning, interactive training techniques, assessment and practicum exercises
Responsible for updating existing learning content as the platform or processes change. This includes updates to audio, graphics, backgrounds, etc.
Develops and maintains knowledge of systems, products and procedures and works closely with subject matter experts to incorporate information into training
Establish and maintain a document management system for learning materials
Partner with Clinical Service, Clinical Operations and Product teams to identify and document training needs and performance gaps
Review and edit existing materials and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, content, and methods of delivery



Position Requirements

Experience:
Minimum of 3 years instructional design experience required
Experience training and developing training content for mental health professionals or health care professionals preferred
Experience with eLearning course and content creation required
Demonstrated knowledge of theories of adult learning
Experience developing learner-centered instructional materials for computer-based delivery
Demonstrated knowledge of instructional design tools
Demonstrated knowledge of eLearning tools
Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
