Job Summary

A global computer software development company has an open position for a Remote Cloud Architect.

Must be able to:

  • Drive public cloud strategy and architecture for a highly available, secure and scalable cloud infrastructure
  • Lead selection of global public cloud providers and regions (including vendor management)
  • Automate cloud instances buildout & upgrades

Position Requirements Include:

  • 7+ years in technical operations teams (Cloud Ops, DevOps, SRE, Cloud/Systems Engineering)
  • 5+ years of hands-on Linux/Unix/Windows System Administration
  • 2+ years of experience as an AWS cloud architect
  • Strong hands-on experience building cloud instances using Terraform, Ansible, and Docker
  • Great scripting experience with Bash, Python and/or Ruby
  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
