A staffing agency has an open position for a Remote Cloud Computing Network Specialist Senior Software Engineer in New York City.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Managing all phases of the project life-cycle activities
- Designing, building, documenting, and maintaining efficient and reliable C++ code
- Implementing highly performant and quality modules
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field
- A minimum of 7+ yrs. of development on Unix/Linux platforms
- Strong understanding of data communications, networking protocols and standards
- Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms
- Experience debugging and solving performance issues
- Experience with debuggers such as GDB, and memory checkers such as Valgrind
