Job Summary
A telecommunications company is in need of a Remote Cloud Data Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Validating and troubleshooting data transformation and loading into SQL and noSQL databases
- Designing data import and ETL processes based on customer-provided data sets
- Operating as part of an overall implementation team to implement company's Cloud SaaS solutions
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Knowledge of a scripting language such as Python, Perl or Java
- Querying SQL databases or modifying SQL statements to produce custom results
- Use of regular expressions to search and extract text-based data
- Able to work on multiple projects at a time with minimal supervision
- Experience with REST/JSON tools such as Postman, cURL and relevant programming language libraries like requests and httplib
- A proven track record providing a high level of technical or project support
