Job Summary
A software development firm has a current position open for a Remote Cloud Data Engineering Manager.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Function as a big data architect, SME, and/or project lead
- Mentor data engineering talent
- Architect / design and oversee creation of production data pipelines
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience building, scaling, and optimizing enterprise-grade data pipeline
- 3+ years of experience developing and deploying solutions in public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Mastery of data wrangling in rational databases using SQL
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming design best practices
- Experience promoting data pipeline though development, testing, and production environments
- Experience using source control (git)
