Job Summary

A software development company is seeking a Remote Cloud DevOps Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Leading installation, maintenance and patching of Ubuntu and based infrastructures
  • Monitoring, maintaining and improving the health and stability of applications
  • Triaging/resolving issues in a timely manner ensuring guideline dates are met

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years professional experience developing and supporting web-based software
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of Java, Servlets, JSP, HTML, XML
  • Proficiency with Unix/Linux command line and shell scripting
  • Strong knowledge of MySQL/Percona, mongoDB, sphinx search
  • Experience working with classic LAMP stack
