Job Summary
Owning the infrastructure for a funded startup, the Remote DevOps / Cloud Engineer will manage CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and monitoring systems, with flexible options for full-time, part-time, or contract work.
Key responsibilities
- Own CI/CD processes, ensuring builds, tests, and deploys run smoothly and autonomously
- Run and maintain cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure), focusing on compute, networking, and IAM
- Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate deployments and manage resources
Required qualifications
- 3-6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering with a focus on production systems
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and its associated services
- Proven track record of managing CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
- Experience with infrastructure as code practices using Terraform, Pulumi, or similar tools
- Strong documentation skills and ability to communicate effectively in asynchronous environments
