Job Summary

An IT and computer services company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Cloud Engineering Infrastructure Development Principal Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks
  • Drive cloud engineering development within OCI compute platform
  • Take an active role in definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures

Qualifications for this position include:

  • 5 - 12+ years experience delivering and operating large scale, highly available distributed systems
  • Strong knowledge of Java, and experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals
  • Strong understanding of databases, NoSQL systems, storage and distributed persistence technologies
  • Strong development experience in building (at scale) java base micro services
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
