Job Summary
A software as a service company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Cloud Engineering Manager.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Proactively removing roadblocks and friction to improve efficiency and employee satisfaction
- Identifying, enabling, and implementing opportunities for automation, process improvement, and architecture improvements
- Collaborating to define best practices and standards around public cloud services and platforms
Qualifications for this position include:
- BS/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant work experience
- 5+ years' experience in systems engineering and infrastructure experience
- 2+ years of building and managing high-performing engineering teams
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices
- Intermediate knowledge of application architecture and design
- Strong understanding of IT Risk Management, Security Policies and Procedures, Internal Audit, and Compliance Standards
