Job Summary
An Engineering company has a current position open for a Remote Cloud Engineering Manager in Chantilly.
Must be able to:
- Manage the team operating the system infrastructure for AWS cloud-based services and apps running in cloud test and production environments following both traditional and Agile Scrum and style of management
- Maintain operations policies & procedures; including security; disaster recovery; monitoring and customer communications
- Provide an essential function for coordinating upgrades, deployments, patches, and security updates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Demonstrable experience in production of 24/7 high-availability multi-site, multi-vendor cloud-based SaaS environments including application hosting and data networks, security, and information security protection.
- Experience working in and leading a team in an Agile and DevOps environment and leading DevOps, on demand, fast-paced environment
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent, demonstrated process management skills; project and goal-oriented
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to be self-directed
