Remote Cloud Infrastructure Staff Software Design Engineer

Job Summary

A microservices company is filling a position for a Remote Cloud Infrastructure Staff Software Design Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Contribute to system architecture and execution, and co-author roadmaps for infrastructure scalability
• Develop effective partnerships across engineering and product teams, and partner with Security to build ‘secure by default’ systems
• Engage with stakeholders and customers to help understand their requirements and enable their business

Qualifications Include:

• Experience contributing to complex cross-team engineering efforts focused on cloud and storage infrastructure
• At least 10 years coding experience
• Comfortable driving alignment across an organization and contributing to long-term roadmaps
• Experience designing distributed systems and using concurrency primitives
• Deep experience in at least one infrastructure and familiarity with adjacencies
• Hands-on experience with one or more cloud providers, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
