Job Summary
A technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Cloud Linux Systems Administrator.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Managing cloud server/storage deployments
- Monitoring system stability and performance and ensure system availability, reliability, and usability
- Troubleshooting complex problems and providing software fault diagnosis resolve operational issues
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 7+ years experience as a system administrator
- 5+ years supporting enterprise customer-facing computing platforms and systems
- Diverse range of technical and operational interests and capabilities
- Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery strategies
- Experience with automated deployment technologies and configuration management systems, especially puppet
- Experience with enterprise monitoring and management tools
