Job Summary
An IT and computer services company is seeking a Remote Cloud Operations Manager.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Manage the US day shift cloud operations workforce
- Build/manage the ITIL practice, procedures, and workgroup
- Troubleshoot incidents and service impairments
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a field such as computer science, engineering, or IS
- At least 10 years of management experience in cloud operations and/or data center operations
- Experience running large Java/python/ruby applications
- Exposure to system management monitoring and alerting tools (Nagios, Prometheus, PCP)
- Extensive experience and knowledge of Linux, in particular RHEL and OEL
- Infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or a programming language
