A global software development company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Cloud Operations Senior Director.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Managing the strategy, operation, training, and architecture of the company's infrastructure
- Creating, tracking, reporting, and driving improvement in operational metrics
- Designing and advising on multi-region, fault-tolerant enterprise, and web-scale environments
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Information Technology or Computer Science (or equivalent)
- 5+ years of proven leadership experience in a cloud / SaaS environment
- 15+ years of overall technical experience
- Proven track record of technology strategy and implementation
- In-depth experience with AWS hosting best practices and design principles
- Experience with Microsoft Infrastructure (on-premise & Azure)
