Job Summary

A software company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Cloud Security Architect.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Designing cloud based offerings and improving techincal defenses through testing
  • Deploying security solutions while partnering with cross platform engineering and security teams
  • Mentoring engineers, build security automated monitoring, and patching of the cloud solution

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience with Cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, VMware VCF
  • 5 years of relevant experience in Security Engineering
  • Experience engineering security solutions within AWS
  • Experience with writing python scripts and applying security policies to terraform IaC files
  • Experience working with cloud security and governance tools, cloud access security brokers (CASBs), and server virtualization technologies
