Job Summary
A systems engineering service provider has an open position for a Remote Cloud Security Engineer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Designing and developing solutions to secure communication and data sharing in a globally distributed service
- Designing and implementing security capabilities covering key management
- Performing hands-on threat modeling, risk assessment, and data security validation
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- This is a remote position, with occasional travel
- Must have experience with Azure services like Azure Security Center, Azure Policy, Azure Sentinel etc
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- 5+ years of experience designing and building data and storage systems at an enterprise scale
- 5+ years of industry experience developing and implementing fundamental security features and solutions with data and storage systems
- Extremely strong fundamental computer science skills and experience working with Snowflake, SQL, MySQL, HBase, Hadoop
