Job Summary
A publicly-held property and casualty insurance provider is filling a position for a Remote Cloud Security Engineer.
Must be able to:
- Serve as a thought leader, solution visionary and technology expert
- Drive Cloud Security Engineering for Enterprise IT and Business IT teams in both IaaS/PaaS and SaaS implementations
- Participate in designing/managing IT Security strategy including both infrastructure and applications
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 5+ years’ professional experience as a Security Engineer supporting software architecture dev environments
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, Chef, and Puppet
- Experience with common scripting languages (Python, Ruby)
- Familiar with DevOps and Agile methodology
- Knowledge of cloud networking architecture, cloud operations, security, automation and orchestration
- Clear understanding of security protocols and standards and experience with software/security architectures
